“ First time visit to The General Roy this evening despite passing it all the time. Used both service at the bar and using the Sizzling app downloaded, and both worked just fine. Only one order seemed to go astray and had to goto bar but it was very quickly sorted with no problem at all. Food came quickly, despite being quite busy. The chicken burger was served hot, fresh and full of flavour. As a visitor to other Sizzling pubs, I noted the plate was smaller than usually get - I wish all others would take note of how this one is served. A giant plate for a burger and chips looks out of place, but this was absolutely perfect. 10/10! Staff are friendly nice, no complaints at all. Added bonus, got a free Peroni in the Sizzling app game. Win win! Got a bit of work done on the laptop, had a few drinks, watched the game and chilled out.... Perfect evening. Thank you for the great time, look forward to coming back soon! ”
